The Tao
Tao 道, is a concept found in Asian culture, it is used philosophically to signify the fundamental or true nature of the universe. This is often expressed through yin and yang arguments, where every action creates a counter-action as a natural, unavoidable movement within manifestations of the Tao. In Chinese philosophy, the concept of yin yang is used to describe how polar or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other in turn. A neverending dance of excanging elements in the universal balance of the known. The Yin and Yang
In Chinese philosophy, the concept of yin yang is used to describe how polar or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other in turn. The concept lies at the origins of many branches of classical Chinese science and philosophy, as well as being a primary guideline of traditional Chinese medicine, and a central principle of different forms of Chinese martial arts and exercise. Many natural dualities — e.g. dark and light, female and male, low and high, cold and hot — are thought of as manifestations of yin and yang (respectively). Yin yang are complementary opposites within a greater whole. Everything has both yin and yang aspects, although yin or yang elements may manifest more strongly in different objects or at different times. Yin yang constantly interacts, never existing in absolute stasis. There is a perception (especially in the West) that yin and yang correspond to good and evil. However, Taoist philosophy generally discounts good/bad distinctions as superficial labels, preferring to focus on the idea of balance. The idea that yin and yang has a moral dimension originated in the Confucian school (most notably Dong Zhongshu) around the second century BC. The 5 Elements balance on the human body and the SENZANOME Jade Coin
by Giulio Zecchini The Body itself is made of 3 of the 5 elements. The wood, which simbolize the born grow and death The Fire, which is the heat of any alive body The Water, wich is the main element forming the body. There are 2 missing elements to close the cycle of the 5 Elements. The Earth, wich is in the form of Jade The Metal in the form of Gold. These are the basis of my understanding of how, wearing a SENZANOME Gold and Jade coin may have an effect in balancing the 5 elements cycles to make the Qi, or life Energy to flow. |
The 5 Chinese Elements
金 Metal 土 earth 水 water 火 fire 木 wood The Wu Xing or 5 Elements or the 5 Movements, phases, steps or stages. The system of five phases is used for describing interactions and relationships between phenomena. There are 3 main interactions beween the 5 phases: -The generative cycle BLUE -The overcaminc cycle PINK -The Controlling Cycle VIOLET The Qi
In traditional Chinese culture, qi, is an active principle forming part of any living thing. Qi is frequently translated as "energy flow", and is often compared to Western notions of vital life or energy, and pranayama, meaning control of breath or energy. The literal translation of "qi" is air, breath, or gas. |
